The Religion of Guism

Basic Beliefs

·       Rhetoric is the way to enlightenment.

·       Life is a series of debates; one argument leads to the next, and the chain of arguments is never-ending; hence it continues after death.  The human soul is reincarnated to continue these debates.

·       There is only one god in guism: kevin gu (other aliases including lady gugu, and the guman),.  the rest of the souls are fragments of kevin gu’s divine power of debate.

·       Those who cannot debate are losers and cannot survive in life.

·       All foundations of science are invalid and must be challenged in the never-ending series of the debates of life.

·       There is no such thing as love, metal, or K-pop.

Symbols/Gestures

·       The flailing of arms signal persuasion. 

·       The use of an Asian accent signals a sense of superiority during debate.

·       Maimed reproductive system: represents the hardships of Kevin Gu during his life on Earth to change the attitude of mankind.

·       The elephant- represents the conservative beliefs of Kevin Gu that he tried to teach to mankind.

Common sayings of GUISM

·       Lawlsauce- represents Kevin Gu’s contempt towards mankind’s incompetent rebuttals.

·       Lamesauce- represents Kevin Gu’s boredom towards the platitudes of mankind when they ineffectively debate

·       GGWP- good game well played (never used by Kevin Gu as he never concedes defeat)

·       “If there be time to expose, through discussion, the falsehoods and fallacies to avert the evils by the processes of education, then the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence.”
